LED Joins the First Wave of Organisations to Achieve The Active Standard Accreditation
LED is thrilled to announce that we are part of the first wave of organisations to be put forward to achieve The Active Standard accreditation. This new, nationally recognised certification for fitness and leisure facilities has been developed in collaboration with key sector partners, and it will demonstrate LED’s unwavering commitment to safety, inclusion, and high operational standards.
The Active Standard is designed to help raise the bar in risk management and operational standards across the sector. By achieving certification to The Active Standard, LED will showcase our dedication to safety, inclusion, and compliance. This certification process is a testament to our ongoing efforts to provide the best possible environment for our community.
Matt Wright, Director of Delivery at LED, expressed his excitement about this milestone:
“I’m delighted that LED Community Leisure will be part of the first wave of organisations to go through the Active Standard. LED takes great pride in our high standards, and delivering the best quality provision for the communities we serve”
The Active Standard offers a comprehensive certification process that ensures fitness and leisure facilities meet the highest industry standards. By adopting The Active Standard, LED is not only boosting consumer confidence but also enhancing our reputation, building trust with customers, and strengthening our facility’s resilience against operational and reputational risks.
We are proud to be part of this sector-wide movement to improve safety, inclusivity, and service quality across the UK. Achieving The Active Standard certification is a significant step in our journey to provide a safe, inclusive, and high-quality environment for all our members and visitors.
Stay tuned for more updates as we progress through the certification process and continue to elevate our standards for the benefit of our community.
