Alan Cockram - Leisure Training Coordinator
With over 27 years of experience in the leisure industry, Alan began his career as a lifeguard at the age of 16 and has since built extensive expertise in both operational management and professional training. Throughout his career with LED Community Leisure Ltd, he has accumulated 17 years of leisure management experience, leading teams, developing staff, and ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality leisure services across a variety of facilities.
As Leisure Training Coordinator for LED Training, Alan is passionate about developing the next generation of leisure professionals through effective training, assessment, and mentorship. He has been a qualified RLSS UK Trainer Assessor for over 12 years, delivering nationally recognised lifeguarding and safety qualifications while maintaining the highest industry standards.
Combining decades of practical operational experience with a strong commitment to learning and development, Alan brings a wealth of knowledge to every course he delivers. His focus is on helping individuals gain the skills, confidence, and professionalism needed to succeed in the leisure sector and provide exceptional customer experiences in safe and welcoming environments.
