Important:
- Current LED customers with a Core membership will not have access to The Engine.
- To use The Engine and other sites, you’ll need to upgrade to All-In.
We hope you will love it, however there is a 14-day cooling off period from when we open on Saturday 20th December 2025. If you join after this date, your 14 days starts from the day of sign up.
No, this only applies to memberships.
Yes, designated free parking is available and will be clearly signposted.
- Entry: Drive through the barrier (it will lift automatically after 5–10 seconds).
- Main Parking: Continue straight past the gym entrance and the Met Office on your right. You’ll find spaces directly ahead.
- Overflow Parking: If the main area is full, turn left and follow the signs to the overflow car park, which has 60–70 additional spaces.
Once your Gym Authorisation subscription is active, access is self-service.
- Download the LED Leisure app.
- Set up your digital membership card barcode within the app (log in details are included in your welcome emails).
- Book a session in advance or on arrival and use the barcode to enter the gym via the access control system.
Lockers are planned to be installed before opening to provide secure storage for your belongings.
Yes, full time students aged 16 years+ will be entitled to 25% discount on The Engine memberships. Please submit your proof here.
Yes, but you’ll need an All-In membership for full access to all LED sites. If you purchase The Engine membership only, it is a single-site membership for use at The Engine exclusively.
Terms & Conditions
The Engine, Membership Pre-Opening Offer
The promotion:
Sign up to The Engine Gym Only, The Engine or The Engine Junior membership between 1st December 2025 and 15th January 2026 (inclusive) and Join for £10 with nothing more to pay until 1st February 2026.
- A valid payment method must be provided upon registration to activate this offer. From 1st February 2026, your membership will automatically renew at the applicable monthly fee, and LED Community Leisure Ltd will charge your designated payment method accordingly.
- Our usual 1-month cancellation policy does not apply to this promotion. Members must pay the February 2026 membership fee, and any cancellation requests made prior to 1st February 2026 will take effect from February, meaning the earliest possible end date would be 28th February 2026.
- Our 14-day cooling off period will be effective from 20th December 2025 following the opening of th the new facility.
- From 1st February 2026, the standard 1-month notice period will apply, in accordance with our usual terms and conditions, which can be found on our website.
- If the membership payment due on 1st February 2026 is not successfully processed, the membership will be considered in default. The promotion will be void, and members will be liable for any outstanding charges.
- This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, discount, or promotions.
- The promotion is available to new members only and applies exclusively to 14 years + The Engine Gym Only, The Engine or The Engine Junior.
- LED Community Leisure Ltd reserves the right to amend, modify, or withdraw this promotion at any time without prior notice. Any changes will not affect members who have already signed up during the promotional period.
- LED Community Leisure Ltd reserves the right to terminate or refuse the promotion to any individual found to be abusing the offer or violating the terms and conditions of membership.
N.B. If you qualify for a regular discount you will need to submit evidence on our website for your discount to be applied to your next Direct Debit collection:

- Blue Light: proof of valid Blue Light card

Failure to provide proof of eligibility will mean your membership will revert to the full rate at the end of the promotional period. All valid submissions will be confirmed by email within 14 days of receipt.
