We were delighted to see 20 participants take part across a variety of race formats, including Singles, Doubles, and Relay events. Every athlete approached the challenge with determination and resilience, pushing themselves to their limits and creating an incredibly supportive atmosphere throughout the day. Their effort, commitment, and encouragement of one another embodied everything that makes the HYROX and LED community so special.
We would also like to give a special mention to Nigel, who took part in an adapted version of the event. Nigel gave his absolute all from start to finish and continues to inspire everyone here at LED Exmouth with his dedication and positive attitude. We are proud to support him on his HYROX journey and look forward to seeing what he achieves next.
Alongside the incredible HYROX simulation event, we were delighted to welcome Replenished, who generously offered athletes complimentary ice baths to support their recovery after the race. Their expertise and support were greatly appreciated by participants, providing a fantastic opportunity to begin the recovery process after such a demanding challenge.
Here’s a message from the owners about what they do:
“We are Nicky and Joe, founders of Replenished — a wellness brand built around the belief that feeling better shouldn’t mean completely changing your life.
It’s the little things we do each day that add up to us feeling the best version of ourselves. I discovered ice baths as part of my own journey towards feeling stronger, calmer and more energised, and they quickly became something I genuinely looked forward to.
There’s something incredibly powerful about stepping into cold water — learning to slow your breathing, sit with the discomfort and realise you’re capable of more than you thought. But for me, ice baths aren’t about pushing yourself to the limit or chasing the latest wellness trend. They’re one small tool that can become part of a much bigger picture: supporting recovery, helping your body reset after training, moving your body, getting outside, eating well, breathing, resting and creating little moments in the day to reconnect with yourself.
That’s why we are particularly excited to be supporting LED’s HYROX simulation and triathlon events, bringing Replenished ice baths into the mix to give participants the opportunity to prioritise recovery alongside their training and performance.
But ultimately, Replenished is about more than sport. It’s about simple, realistic wellness that fits into real life. Not perfection. Not another list of things you ‘should’ be doing. Just small things that help you feel more like yourself again.
And sometimes, that starts with taking a deep breath… and getting into cold water”
