Last Friday, the LED team headed to Ottery for the Fundergames, a fantastic local business event bringing organisations together for an evening of fun, teamwork and friendly competition, while also raising vital funds for Hospiscare.
After a long day at work, the team came together, pulled on their football boots and took to the pitch ready to represent LED. It was a great opportunity for colleagues to step away from their usual roles, enjoy some friendly competition and work together as a team.
The football competition was full of energy, with the LED team giving it their all throughout the evening. Despite coming straight from a busy day at work, everyone got stuck in and showed great team spirit both on and off the pitch.
We’re delighted to say that the team finished third in the competition, securing a well-deserved bronze medal! 🥉⚽️
More importantly, the Fundergames provided an opportunity to support Hospiscare and help raise money for a charity that provides vital care and support to people across our local communities.
A huge well done to everyone who took part and represented LED. It was a fantastic evening of sport, laughter, teamwork and community spirit – and we’re already looking forward to the next one!
